Achieving Professional Goals
Since completing our Becoming A Proofreader course, Naomi has transitioned to full-time proofreading. She works with Proofed in addition to managing her own clients she’s found online, and she structures her day around various goals and projects. She enjoys the variety that each new day brings and is very happy to be free from long, rush hour commutes!

Prioritizing Mental HealthWhen Hannah found that her day job was taking a toll on her mental wellbeing, she sought out Knowadays to help her launch a new career as a proofreader. Since graduating and starting work at Proofed, her mental and physical wellbeing has significantly improved, affording her more energy and enthusiasm for her hobbies, her Etsy business, and quality time with her cat, Penny.

Learning New Skills
Lisa, a full-time research scientist, took our Becoming A Proofreader course to improve her knowledge of English writing rules. She now works for Proofed in her spare time, and her new skills have been valuable in her day job, too!

Earning Extra Income During Retirement
Kath, a semi-retired accountant, was looking for something she could do at home to earn some extra money. She now combines bookkeeping with proofreading, and loves helping other people polish their writing.

Training for a Flexible New CareerAfter taking a break from her career in the insurance industry, Kristen decided it was time to try something new. She now works on her own terms as a freelance proofreader, and has even started her own business!
