Knowadays is an elearning provider, specializing in professional training courses in writing, editing, and connected skills. We’re also a collection of people who are passionate about what we do – which is help learners achieve their goals!

That’s us! Well, it was us. Proofreading Academy started life in 2017 and offered a comprehensive proofreading training course – Becoming A Proofreader – as well as short courses in academic and business writing. But we had big dreams! In 2021, we rebranded as Knowadays, allowing us to grow and expand our offerings to include new courses in editing and beyond. 

Since evolving from Proofreading Academy into Knowadays, we have developed online courses in blog writing, AI prompting, formatting, fact-checking, copywriting, and more. We’re proud to have helped thousands of learners learn new skills, boost their resumes, and even start brand-new careers!

Our courses are predominantly centred around writing and editing, plus associated skills.

We offer courses that can help you to launch a whole new freelance career, such as Becoming A Proofreader, Becoming An Editor, Becoming A Freelance Writer, and Becoming A Copywriter. We also teach topics that allow you to add new skills and services to your repertoire, such as Formatting In Microsoft Word, How To Fact-Check, and AI Prompting For Writers And Editors.

Knowadays courses are designed and written by professionals who have experience in the industry, whether that’s in writing, editing, or freelancing. Knowadays courses are accessed online and feature written content interspersed with short tutorial videos, quizzes, and practical exercises.
