Samantha Gilder

My passion for reading began in childhood, and I could often be found curled up with a book – while ignoring anything else going on around me! I hold a BA in psychology studies and criminology and have over 15 years of experience working in the NHS in various administrative and management roles. During that time, I drafted, reviewed, and edited a wide range of documents, specialising in business and marketing. I also have experience as a prosecution officer, reviewing case files for specified offences.

My aim to pursue writing professionally, alongside other work and family commitments, led me to Knowadays. I previously completed their proofreading and editing courses, and I’m delighted to have now graduated from Becoming A Freelance Writer. Having found the Knowadays blog to be a great support during my studies, I’m looking forward to contributing to it as the next step in my professional journey.
