The phrase is also used in place of more specific descriptions of footwear that would have been much clearer for the reader (such as “sneakers”). This text is clearly aimed at manipulating the search engine by artificially increasing the frequency of the keyword phrase to make the content appear more valuable and relevant than it actually is.

Why Is Keyword Stuffing Bad Practice?
